Partners in Culturally and Linguistically Appropriate Care (PICAC NSW) is a service of the Multicultural Communities Council of Illawarra and is an initiative under the Ethnic Aged Care Framework. PICAC NSW is funded by the Department of Health and Ageing.
The primary aim of PICAC NSW is to increase accessibility and cultural appropriateness of services provided to older persons in NSW from culturally and linguistically diverse (CALD) communities. This is achieved through the delivery of culturally inclusive aged care training and resources.
This website provides a range of resources, information and education opportunities to enhance delivery of best practice services and support to people from CALD communities in the residential and community aged sector. PICAC NSW e-learning initiatives also provide engaging and meaningful online training experiences using flexible online technologies.
The Multicultural Communities Council of Illawarra Inc. (MCCI) Management Committee and Manager of MCCI, and PICAC NSW Manager and staff we wish to welcome you to the new PICAC New South Wales web site. This site is currently under development.
