Craig Harris is the Branch Manager, Access Reform Branch, Access, Quality and Compliance Group, Department of Social Services. He joined the former Department of Health and Ageing in July 2012 as the Assistant Secretary, Access Reform Branch, Ageing and Aged Care Division.
Over 20 years he has worked in various policy and program roles within the Australian Government. He started his career in the Department of Transport where he worked principally on maritime policy issues. Craig spent 10 years with the Attorney General’s Department working on a range of criminal justice, organised crime and strategic intelligence issues, before managing the delivery of education and training through the Australian Emergency Management Institute and the Protective Security Training Centre.
